Asset Recovery Situation Room

A room for thinking under pressure without letting pressure do the thinking. The concept joins a physical masterclass environment, an evidence-led digital control surface and a public visual language designed to make strong arguments harder to distort, easier to test and easier to correct.

The plan is indicative, not to scale, and does not resolve the irregular 196 m² footprint. Text inside the render is illustrative; the readable HTML explanations on this page are the teaching reference. The protocol retains five fields, including contrary evidence, even where the graphic summarises four.

White Team: exercise moderation and oversight

In this room design, the White Team facilitates the exercise, checks sources and rules, and records disagreement. It does not decide guilt or replace the competent decision-maker.

A new spatial layer above the existing recovery system

This does not replace the existing Recovery Command Center or Case Control Room. It gives their underlying discipline a physical and visual form: one environment where lawyers, investigators, regulators, journalists, students and collaborators can inspect competing explanations, move from source to proposition, and see exactly what evidence could strengthen, narrow or defeat a claim.

Earlier visualisations: their compact web copies are retained; original PNG masters are identified by checksum in the provenance record.

Spatial brief

  • The reported total area is approximately 200 m² (rounded wording; the earlier report was 196 m², with a measured survey still pending).
  • The nominal envelope is about 40 m × 5 m, but the room is not a perfect rectangle and one side extends deeper.
  • A principal teaching/analysis wall can occupy approximately 10–20 metres at roughly 3.5 metres high.
  • The final architectural geometry must come from a measured survey; the renders deliberately remain conceptual.

THE WALL AS A THINKING OPERATING SYSTEM

Seven modules, one repeatable discipline

Architectural wall elevation for the Adversarial Critical Thinking masterclass, showing core concepts, argument integrity, workflow, hypotheses, cognitive biases, reader prompts and wall-to-website mapping
Wall-system elevation · the same concepts become website cards, evidence tags and backend quality-control fields.
1 · Core concepts

Steelman · Strawman Risk · Red / Blue / Purple

Understand the strongest version before critique; detect distortion; actively attack assumptions; defend what survives; then combine perspectives to improve the model.

2 · Argument integrity

Five mandatory lenses

Project Position → Strongest Contrary Explanation → Contrary Evidence → Decisive Test → Proof Ceiling.

3 · Workflow loop

Thinking is iterative

Observe → Frame → Claim → Steelman → Red-team → Test → Revise → Publish. Publication is a stage in the loop, not the end of it.

4 · Competing hypotheses

Keep more than one explanation alive

Do not ask only what supports the preferred theory. Ask what each hypothesis predicts, what supports it, what falsifies it and what remains unexplained.

5 · Cognitive bias

Make the analyst visible to the analysis

Confirmation bias, anchoring, availability, groupthink, Dunning–Kruger and motivated reasoning become explicit failure modes to check.

6 · Reader activation

The page asks the reader to think

Prompts move a visitor from passive reading to active testing: alternative explanation, disproof, evidence status and view-changing evidence.

7 · Wall → website → backend

One visual language

The physical room, public pages and machine-readable evidence graph use the same concepts so a reader-facing card can map back to a structured analytical field.

ARGUMENT INTEGRITY PROTOCOL

The five cards that should travel with a serious allegation

Position

Project Position

What exactly is being alleged or proposed?

Steelman

Strongest Contrary Explanation

What is the strongest reasonable lawful or non-culpable account of the same facts?

Challenge

Contrary Evidence

Which sources or outcomes pull against the project position?

Decision

Decisive Test

What finite record, event or comparison would best discriminate between the explanations?

Limit

Proof Ceiling

What is the strongest conclusion the present evidence permits—and what does it not permit?

Essential attribution rule. A steelman constructed by Por Derecho is not automatically the affected party's defence. The backend and public page should distinguish an explanation actually advanced by a person or institution from an inferred steelman formulated to make the analysis fairer and harder to defeat.

COMPETING HYPOTHESES

Replace confirmation seeking with discrimination

HypothesisExample analytical frameWhat would support it?What would falsify or narrow it?Status
H1Deliberate wrongdoing or knowing misuseActor-specific knowledge, authority, act, documentary use, causal effect and intent evidenceContemporaneous lawful reason, independent basis, missing knowledge or broken causal linkEvidence-dependent
H2Negligence / professional or institutional failureDuty, foreseeable risk, missed safeguards, unreasonable omissionReasonable professional judgment, no duty/capacity, adequate mitigationEvidence-dependent
H3Good-faith mistake or disputed legal interpretationAmbiguity, incomplete information, contemporaneous reasoning, later correctionContrary facts personally known and consciously maintained without reconciliationEvidence-dependent
H4Lawful conduct plus adverse commercial circumstancesIndependent commercial failure, legitimate rights, external causes, ordinary transaction riskDocuments connecting specific acts to avoidable loss or improper benefitEvidence-dependent

The objective is not to force every matter into four boxes. It is to preserve live alternatives long enough for evidence to discriminate between them.

READER PROMPTS

Turn every important page into a small critical-thinking exercise

What is the strongest alternative explanation?

Do not make the reader infer that the absence of an alternative equals proof of the preferred theory.

What evidence would disprove this?

A proposition that cannot identify disconfirming evidence risks becoming unfalsifiable.

Which claim is documented and which is inferred?

Keep source fact, attributed allegation, inference, official outcome and open question visually distinct.

What would change our view?

Publish the missing record or event capable of materially strengthening, narrowing or defeating the current analysis.

Strawman warning. The same control works in both directions: Por Derecho must not weaken the opposing position to make it easier to attack, and an institution or opponent should not reduce Por Derecho's multi-track allegation to a simpler proposition that was never advanced.

BACKEND EVIDENCE INTELLIGENCE

How the room can strengthen the engine

The visual grammar can become a machine-readable quality-control layer. For every material hypothesis—especially a serious actor-specific allegation—the evidence graph can require fields that force contradiction, alternative explanation and falsification to travel with the claim.

UPDATE

When new evidence arrives, revise confidence and public presentation without silently deleting the prior state.

Human and legal boundary. This is evidence intelligence, not automated guilt scoring. The system should not score people, credibility or criminal responsibility. It should make propositions more auditable and make uncertainty harder to hide.

CONTINUITY

From the control-room idea to a situation room

The existing Por Derecho architecture already separates recovery operations from the public case-control interface. This concept adds the missing spatial and pedagogical layer: a place where the recovery operating system can be taught, challenged and visually understood while remaining connected to the same evidence graph.

The earlier LinkedIn control-room concept is treated here as background continuity only. The exact historical LinkedIn post text was not recovered from the connected content source during this implementation, so this page does not attribute unverified wording to it.
